Farming The Philadelphia Region
"Going Local" may be a trend in some circles but to Greensgrow there's nothing new about marketing local foods. We started in 1997 growing specialty greens and herbs for the restaurant trade and we've never looked back.
Now in addition to our own produce, we act as a broker between our farm partners and Philadelphia chefs who know the value in serving local foods - from savoy spinach to butternut squash. As soon as we know it's ready, you know it's ready. Customers will taste the difference in strawberries picked from the fields in Pedrickstown New Jersey and delivered straight to your kitchen door. We follow the season as our family farm growers have done for generations. We are not a full season broker.
